The base Pilot is the Sport model, which has an eight-passenger seating capacity and a maximum cargo capacity of 87 cubic feet. The Sport is outfitted with a V6 engine that offers 285 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The motor can be paired with a 2WD driveline or an available AWD system with Intelligent Variable Torque Management.
EX-L
The EX-L comes with 18-inch all-season tires, LED fog lights, and a range of selectable drive modes. With the standard 2WD drivetrain, the drive modes are ECON, Snow, Tow, Sport, and Normal. If you opt for the AWD drivetrain, a Trail & Sand drive mode is added to the drive mode selector for excellent off-road traction. The towing capacity for this model is 3,500 lbs with the 2WD system or 5,000 lbs with AWD.
