Job Description - Parts Salesperson

Responsibilities:

As a Parts Salesperson, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding service to our customers. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional customer service by answering phone calls, greeting customers and vendors, and helping them find the correct parts and merchandise they need.
• Maintaining a clean and professional appearance of the counter, work area, and stockroom to create a welcoming environment for customers
• Conducting regular inventory checks, maintaining records of goods received, and ensuring proper inventory controls are in place to manage stock levels effectively
• Coordinating with the Service Team to ensure timely delivery of parts and merchandise for vehicle repair and service
• Ordering parts from suppliers based on customer and Service Department requests while managing inventory levels to minimize excess stock
• Receiving, unpacking, and storing parts in appropriate storage areas to ensure they are readily available when needed
• Processing payment, obtaining credit authorization, and assisting with core returns, parts warranties, and part returns as necessary

Qualifications:

• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience in Parts is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of basic automotive components and systems
• Automotive dealership service experience is a plus
• Any automotive certifications are a plus
• CDK experience is a plus
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Must be at least 18 years old
